(Singapore Sports Council —
Exemption) (No. 4) Order 2022

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 40 of the Remote Gambling Act 2014, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order is the Remote Gambling (Singapore Sports Council — Exemption) (No. 4) Order 2022.

Definitions

2. In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires —

“draw” means the draw to be held as part of the promotion at 3 Stadium Drive, Singapore 397630 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on 12 September 2022;

“organiser” means the Singapore Sports Council established by section 3 of the Singapore Sports Council Act 1973;

“promotion” means the promotion called “GetActive! Singapore 2022 Survey - Share Your Feedback and Stand to Win Cool Prizes” that is to be made available from 23 July 2022 to 31 August 2022 (both dates inclusive) on the website at https://go.gov.sg/gasg2022survey;

“public accountant” has the meaning given by section 2(1) of the Accountants Act 2004.

Exemption

3.—(1) The organiser is exempt from sections 11, 13, 15 and 17 of the Act in respect of the promotion and the draw.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
