State Lands (Fees) (Amendment No. 2) Rules 2002

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19(1) of the State Lands Act, the Minister for Law hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the State Lands (Fees) (Amendment No. 2) Rules 2002 and shall come into operation on 1st December 2002.

Deletion and substitution of rule 2

2. Rule 2 of the State Lands (Fees) Rules 2001 (G.N. No. S 369/2001) is deleted and the following rule substituted therefor:

“Fees

2. The fees specified in the Schedule are inclusive of the goods and services tax chargeable under the Goods and Services Tax Act (Cap. 117A) on the supply of goods or services in respect of which such fees are payable.”.

Amendment of Schedule

3. Item 12 of the Schedule to the State Lands (Fees) Rules 2001 is amended —

(a)	by deleting the words “$2.30 per metric tonne” in paragraph (c) and substituting the words “10% of the average price of the granite, as published by the Building and Construction Authority from time to time, for the month in which the date of removal of the granite falls”; and
(b)	by deleting the words “$1.60 per metric tonne” in paragraph (d) and substituting the words “10% of the average price of the granite, as published by the Building and Construction Authority from time to time, for the month in which the date of removal of the granite falls”.
