Environmental Public Health Act
(Chapter 95)
Environmental Public Health (Toxic Industrial Waste) (Amendment) Regulations 1998
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 114(1) of the Environmental Public Health Act, the Minister for the Environment hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Environmental Public Health (Toxic Industrial Waste) (Amendment) Regulations 1998 and shall come into operation on 1st February 1999.
Amendment of Schedule
2.  The Schedule to the Environmental Public Health (Toxic Industrial Waste) Regulations (Rg 11) is amended —
(a)by inserting, immediately after item (2) in the group “Lead Compounds”, the following item in the appropriate columns:

ā€œ3.Waste lead-acid batteries, whole or crushed
