Notification 2024

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 8 of the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes Act 2000, the Minister for Health makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1.—(1) This Notification is the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes (Approved Institutions) (Amendment No. 5) Notification 2024.

(2) Paragraph 2(b) is deemed to have come into operation on 19 February 2024.

(3) Paragraph 2(a) is deemed to have come into operation on 1 April 2024.

(4) Paragraph 2(c) is deemed to have come into operation on 4 April 2024.

(5) Paragraph 2(d) is deemed to have come into operation on 1 July 2024.

(6) Paragraph 2(e) comes into operation on 1 August 2024.

Amendment of Schedule

2. In the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes (Approved Institutions) Notification 2016 (G.N. No. S 2/2016), in the Schedule —

(a)

in item 36, delete “& Nursing Home”;

(b)

after item 202, insert —

(c)

(d)
