Infectious Diseases Act (Amendment of Sixth Schedule) Notification 2008

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 70 of the Infectious Diseases Act, the Minister for Health hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Infectious Diseases Act (Amendment of Sixth Schedule) Notification 2008 and shall come into operation on 1st December 2008.

Amendment of Sixth Schedule

2. The Sixth Schedule to the Infectious Diseases Act is amended by numbering the existing item as item (1), and by inserting immediately thereafter the following item:

“(2) Tuberculosis.”.
