Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Deputy Prime Minister) Notification 2001

Responsibility of Deputy Prime Minister

It is hereby notified for general information that, in pursuance of Article 30(1) of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, the Prime Minister has directed that BG (NS) Lee Hsien Loong, Deputy Prime Minister, shall, with effect from 23rd November 2001, be charged with the responsibility —

(a)	to advise the Prime Minister on economic and civil service personnel matters, and to discharge such other duties as may be assigned by the Prime Minister; and
(b)	for the departments and subjects set out in the Schedule.

Citation

2. This Notification may be cited as the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Deputy Prime Minister) Notification 2001.

Cancellation

3. The Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Deputy Prime Minister) Notification 1998 (G.N. No. S 1/98) is cancelled.
