Poisons Act (Amendment of Schedule) Notification 2003

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(2) of the Poisons Act, Mr Khaw Boon Wan, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Finance, charged with the responsibility of the Minister for Health, hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Poisons Act (Amendment of Schedule) Notification 2003 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2004.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Poisons Act is amended by inserting, immediately below the item “Aprotinin”, the following item:

“Aristolochic acids; their salts”.
