United Nations (Anti-Terrorism Measures)
(Amendment) Regulations 2013
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(1) of the United Nations Act, the Minister for Law hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the United Nations (Anti-Terrorism Measures) (Amendment) Regulations 2013 and shall come into operation on 1st October 2013.
Amendment of regulation 4
2.  Regulation 4(1) of the United Nations (Anti-Terrorism Measures) Regulations (Rg 1) (referred to in these Regulations as the principal Regulations) is amended by deleting the definition of “funds”.
Deletion of regulations 5, 6 and 7
3.  Regulations 5, 6 and 7 of the principal Regulations are deleted.
Amendment of regulation 9
4.  Regulation 9 of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting “5, 6, 7,”.
Deletion and substitution of regulation 10
5.  Regulation 10 of the principal Regulations is deleted and the following regulation substituted therefor:
Duty to provide information
10.—(1)  Every person in Singapore, and every citizen of Singapore outside Singapore, who has information about any transaction or act prohibited by regulation 7A, 7B, 7C or 8, shall —
(a)immediately inform the Commissioner of Police or any authorised person of that information; and
(b)provide such further information relating to the transaction or act as the Commissioner of Police or authorised person may require.
(2)  In this regulation —
“authorised person” means such person as the Minister may designate for the purposes of this regulation;
“Commissioner of Police” includes —
(a)any police officer; and
(b)any person authorised by the Commissioner of Police to act for him for the purposes of this regulation.”.
Amendment of regulation 11
6.  Regulation 11 of the principal Regulations is amended —
(a)by deleting “5, 6, 7,”; and
(b)by deleting the words “or 10” and substituting the words “or 10(1)”.
