Securities and Futures
(Prescribed Futures Contracts)
(Amendment) Regulations 2012

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 2(1) (paragraphs (a)(ii) and (b)(ii) of the definition of “futures contracts”) and 341 of the Securities and Futures Act, the Monetary Authority of Singapore hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Securities and Futures (Prescribed Futures Contracts) (Amendment) Regulations 2012 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 14th December 2012.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Securities and Futures (Prescribed Futures Contracts) Regulations 2005 (G.N. No. S 368/2005) is amended by deleting item 11 and substituting the following item:

“11.	The London Metal Exchange (formerly known as “London Metal Exchange Limited”)”.
