(Approved Institutions) (Amendment No. 11)
Notification 2017

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 8 of the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes Act, the Minister for Health makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1.—(1) This Notification is the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes (Approved Institutions) (Amendment No. 11) Notification 2017 and, except for paragraph 2(a), (b) and (c), is deemed to have come into operation on 26 September 2017.

(2) Paragraph 2(c) is deemed to have come into operation on 1 May 2016.

(3) Paragraph 2(a) is deemed to have come into operation on 10 January 2017.

(4) Paragraph 2(b) is deemed to have come into operation on 24 July 2017.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes (Approved Institutions) Notification 2016 (G.N. No. S 2/2016) is amended —

(a)

by deleting item 30 and substituting the following item:

“30. Jamiyah Nursing Home (Darul Syifaa)”;

(b)

by deleting item 82 and substituting the following item:

“82. Sree Narayana Mission Nursing Home”;

(c)

by deleting item 83 and substituting the following item:

“83. Sree Narayana Mission Senior Care Centre (Woodlands)”; and

(d)

by inserting, immediately after item 136, the following item:

“136A. Anglican Care Centre (Farrer Park)”.
