In exercise of the powers conferred by section 1 of the Central Provident Fund (Amendment) Act 2016, the Minister for Manpower makes the following Notification:

1. This Notification is the Central Provident Fund (Amendment) Act 2016 (Commencement) (No. 3) Notification 2016.

2. Sections 41 and 46(1)(c), (d), (e) and (l) of the Central Provident Fund (Amendment) Act 2016 come into operation on 31 December 2016.

3. Sections 2(d), 9 to 14, 16, 18 to 21, 38, 39 and 46(1)(a), (b), (f) and (g) and (2) of the Central Provident Fund (Amendment) Act 2016 come into operation on 1 January 2017.
