Proclamation by Minister for Defence

WHEREAS under section 8 of the Military Manoeuvres Act it is enacted that the Minister for Defence may by proclamation declare an area to be a firing ground:

WHEREAS the Singapore Armed Forces will be conducting military exercises at Ayer Rajah Camp where localised spot charges will be used within the buildings in Ayer Rajah Camp:

WHEREAS for the purpose of allowing the conduct of the military exercises:

NOW, THEREFORE, the Minister for Defence, in exercise of the powers conferred as aforesaid, hereby declares that the area specified in the Schedule shall be a firing ground from 2nd November 2010 to 4th November 2010 (both dates inclusive).

Made this 2nd day of November 2010.
