Patents (Amendment No. 3) Rules 2001

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 115 of the Patents Act, the Minister for Law, after consultation with the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore, hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Patents (Amendment No. 3) Rules 2001 and shall come into operation on 15th January 2002.

Amendment of rule 98

2. Rule 98 of the Patents Rules (R 1) is amended by deleting “5.00 p.m.” in the 4th line of paragraph (1) and in the 2nd line of paragraph (2) and substituting in each case “5.30 p.m.”.
