Customs (Miscellaneous Fees) (Amendment No. 2) Notification 2005
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 98 of the Customs Act, the Director-General of Customs, with the approval of the Minister for Finance, hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Customs (Miscellaneous Fees) (Amendment No. 2) Notification 2005 and shall come into operation on 20th October 2005.
Amendment of Schedule
2.  The Schedule to the Customs (Miscellaneous Fees) Notification (N 3) is amended by inserting, immediately after item (10), the following item:
(11) Where any vehicle used in the commission of an offence under the Act has been seized on or after 1st May 2005 under section 110(1) of the Act, for —
 
$1,000.
(a) considering a request by the owner of the vehicle for the release of the vehicle;
 
 
(b) investigating the claims of the owner;
 
 
(c) towing and storing the vehicle while the offence and the owner’s claims are being investigated; and
 
 
(d) releasing the vehicle
 
 
”.
