Precious Stones and Precious Metals
(Composition of Offences) Regulations 2019
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 39 of the Precious Stones and Precious Metals (Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing) Act 2019, the Minister for Law makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Precious Stones and Precious Metals (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2019 and come into operation on 9 October 2019.
Compoundable offences
2.  The following offences (other than a continuing offence) may be compounded by the Registrar in accordance with section 31 of the Act:
(a)any offence under section 6(2), 16(6), 17(4), 18(5), 19(3), 21(3) or 27 of the Act;
(b)any offence under regulation 20(3) or 21(4) of the Precious Stones and Precious Metals (Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing) Regulations 2019 (G.N. No. S 306/2019).
