Education Endowment Scheme (Edusave Scholarships) (Amendment) Regulations 2001

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24(a) of the Education Endowment Scheme Act, the Minister for Education hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Education Endowment Scheme (Edusave Scholarships) (Amendment) Regulations 2001 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1st November 2001.

Amendment of regulation 11

2. Regulation 11(1) of the Education Endowment Scheme (Edusave Scholarships) Regulations (Rg 2, 2001 Ed.) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “and” at the end of sub-paragraph (c); and

(b)

by deleting the full-stop at the end of sub-paragraph (d) and substituting the word “; and”, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following sub-paragraph:

“(e)	who has attained a good or better grade for conduct in that year.”.

Amendment of regulation 15

3. Regulation 15(1) of the Education Endowment Scheme (Edusave Scholarships) Regulations is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “and” at the end of sub-paragraph (a); and

(b)

by deleting the full-stop at the end of sub-paragraph (b) and substituting the word “; and”, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following sub-paragraph:

“(c)	who has attained a good or better grade for conduct in that year.”.
