(Chapter 329A)
Town Council of Marine Parade (Conservancy and Service Charges) (Amendment) By-laws 2006
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24(1) of the Town Councils Act, the Town Council for the Town of Marine Parade hereby makes the following By-laws:
Citation and commencement
1.  These By-laws may be cited as the Town Council of Marine Parade (Conservancy and Service Charges) (Amendment) By-laws 2006 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2007.
Amendment of Schedule
2.  The Schedule to the Town Council of Marine Parade (Conservancy and Service Charges) By-laws (By 53) is amended by deleting items 1 to 15 and substituting the following items:

1. 1-room flat

9. Shop with living accommodation, kiosk or shoplet
 
$1.58 per square metre of the area of the premises subject to a minimum of $52.50 in addition to the following conservancy and service charges for the equivalent room type:
(a) 1-room flat
 
$19.95.
 
 
(b) 2-room flat
 
$28.35.
 
 
(c) 3-room flat
 
$39.90.
 
 
(d) 4-room flat
 
$52.50.
 
 
(e) 5-room flat
 
$65.10.
 
 
(f) Executive apartment or maisonette
 
$81.90.
 
 
(g) HUDC flat or maisonette
 
$107.10.
 
 
10. Other commercial property
 
$1.58 per square metre of the area of the property subject to a minimum of $52.50.
11.—(1)  Stall:
(a) Cooked food stall
 
$137.55 for every 10 square metres of the area of the stall or part thereof.
(b) Fruits, preserved and dried goods, fresh fish and seafood, meat or poultry stall
 
$66.15 for every 10 square metres of the area of the stall or part thereof.
(c) Vegetable, bean curd and noodle, egg, ground assorted spices or miscellaneous stall
 
$40.95 for every 10 square metres of the area of the stall or part thereof.
(d) Piece and sundry stall
 
$79.80 for every 10 square metres of the area of the stall or part thereof.
(2) 2 or more stalls with total area exceeding 10 square metres allotted to a stall-holder
 
Charges for each additional stall shall be double the conservancy and service charges for the first stall allotted to the stall-holder set out in paragraph (1).
12. Shop in complex with air-conditioning
 
$10.08 per square metre of the area of the shop or part thereof.
13. Shop in complex with no air-conditioning
 
$4.41 per square metre of the area of the shop or part thereof.
14. Office in complex with air-conditioning
 
$9.56 per square metre of the area of the premises or part thereof.
