People’s Association Act (Amendment of First Schedule) Notification 2008

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4(5)(b) of the People’s Association Act, the Board of Management of the People’s Association hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the People’s Association Act (Amendment of First Schedule) Notification 2008 and shall come into operation on 30th December 2008.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. The First Schedule to the People’s Association Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting item 7 and substituting the following item:

“7. Chinese Theatre Circle Ltd”; and

(b)

by deleting item 81 and substituting the following item:

“81. Persatuan Pemudi Islam Singapura”.
