Maintenance Orders (Facilities for
Enforcement) (Registration of Orders in
Family Court) Rules 2014
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) Act, the Minister for Law hereby makes the following Rules:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Rules may be cited as the Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) (Registration of Orders in Family Court) Rules 2014 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1 October 2014.
Registration of order made by court outside Singapore
2.  An order made by a court outside Singapore which has been sent by the Minister to a Family Court for registration under section 3 of the Act must be registered —
(a)by entering the particulars of that order in a register kept by the Family Court; and
(b)by filing a copy of that order in the Family Court.
Orders registered to be numbered
3.  Each order registered in accordance with rule 2 must be numbered consecutively with a serial number, beginning each year with the number 1.
Revocation
4.  The Registration of Orders in District Court Rules (R 1) are revoked.
