(Exemption)
Notification 2015

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) Notification 2015.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)

the “Chinese New Year Promotion — Ang Bao Surprise” promotion to be held from 10 January 2015 to 1 March 2015 (both dates inclusive); and

(b)

the draw to be held on 12 January 2015 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. as part of that promotion at the Festive Hotel Basement 1 Membership Office of Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd., the results of which are to be announced in batches during the following periods:

(i)	29 January 2015 to 1 February 2015 (both dates inclusive);
(ii)	5 February 2015 to 8 February 2015 (both dates inclusive);
(iii)	12 February 2015 to 15 February 2015 (both dates inclusive);
(iv)	26 February 2015 to 1 March 2015 (both dates inclusive).

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
