(Chapter 214)

Parking Places (Urban Redevelopment Authority) (Amendment) Order 2009

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Parking Places Act, the Minister for Transport hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Parking Places (Urban Redevelopment Authority) (Amendment) Order 2009 and shall come into operation on 23rd February 2009.

Amendment of paragraph 2

2. Paragraph 2 of the Parking Places (Urban Redevelopment Authority) Order 2000 (G.N. No. S 441/2000) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “Form 7 or 8” in the definition of “monthly parking coupon” and substituting the words “Form 5”;

(b)

by deleting the definition of “plans” and substituting the following definition:

“ “plans” means the plans of designated parking places and lists of roads approved by the Superintendent which are available for inspection by the public free of charge during normal office hours at the office of the Deputy Superintendent of Car Parks (Urban Redevelopment Authority);”; and

(c)

by deleting the words “Form 3 or 4” in the definition of “whole day parking coupon” and substituting the words “Form 4”.

Amendment of paragraph 4

3. Paragraph 4 of the Parking Places (Urban Redevelopment Authority) Order 2000 is amended by deleting sub-paragraphs (a) to (d) and substituting the following sub-paragraphs:

(a) Form 4

(b) Form 5

$300 (only for parking places with $0.50 half hour parking charge during their coupon parking operational hours).
