Planning (Changes in Use — Lodgment Authorisation) (Amendment No. 2) Notification 2008

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 21(6) of the Planning Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Planning (Changes in Use — Lodgment Authorisation) (Amendment No. 2) Notification 2008 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2009.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. The First Schedule to the Planning (Changes in Use — Lodgment Authorisation) Notification (N 5) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “and the first storey of any building in Part VI of the Fourth Schedule” in the first column of item 4;

(b)

by deleting the words “and the first storey of any building in Part VII of the Fourth Schedule” in the first column of item 5; and

(c)

by inserting, immediately after item 6, the following items:

“

7. The first storey of any building in Part VI of the Fourth Schedule

Class I

Use as a shop

Class II

Use as an office or a commercial school

Class XII

Use as a child care centre

Class XIII

Use as a community building

Class XIV

Use as a sports and recreation building

Use as a confectionery

Use as a showroom.

8. The first storey of any building in Part VII of the Fourth Schedule

Class I

Use as a shop

Class XIV

Use as a sports and recreation building

Use as a confectionery

Use as a showroom.
