Road Traffic (Electronic Road Pricing System) (Amendment) Rules 2011

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 34D and 140 of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Transport hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Road Traffic (Electronic Road Pricing System) (Amendment) Rules 2011 and shall come into operation on 21st February 2011.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. The First Schedule to the Road Traffic (Electronic Road Pricing System) Rules 2007 (G.N. No. S 738/2007) is amended —

(a)

by deleting item 10 under the heading “SPECIFIED ROADS AND SPECIFIED ENTRY POINTS” for “(A) BUGIS-MARINA CENTRE CORDON (Excluding Nicoll Highway)” in Part 15;

(b)

by deleting item 2 under the heading “SPECIFIED ROADS AND SPECIFIED ENTRY POINTS” for “(C) SHENTON WAY-CHINATOWN CORDON” in Part 15;

(c)

by inserting, immediately after item 10 under the heading “SPECIFIED ROADS AND SPECIFIED ENTRY POINTS” for “(C) SHENTON WAY-CHINATOWN CORDON” in Part 15, the following items:

“

11. Maxwell Road/
East Coast Parkway

On the slip road between the point where East Coast Parkway exit to Central Boulevard meets Maxwell Road and the point where the slip road meets Central Boulevard.

12. Marina Station Road

Between the junction of Marina Street and Marina Station Road and the junction of Central Boulevard and Marina Station Road on Marina Station Road on the northbound carriageway.

(d)

by inserting, immediately after item 3 under the heading “SPECIFIED ROADS AND SPECIFIED ENTRY POINTS” in Part 29, the following item:

“

4. Bayfront Avenue

Between the junction of Bayfront Avenue and Raffles Avenue and the junction of Bayfront Avenue and Marina Boulevard on Bayfront Avenue on the southbound carriageway.

”; and

(e)

by inserting, immediately after item 2 under the heading “SPECIFIED ROADS AND SPECIFIED ENTRY POINTS” in Part 30, the following item:

“

3. Bayfront Avenue

Between the junction of Marina Boulevard and Bayfront Avenue and the point where Bayfront Avenue meets Raffles Avenue on Bayfront Avenue on the northbound carriageway.

”.
