Sewerage and Drainage
(Composition of Offences) (Amendment)
Regulations 2015

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 70 and 74(1) of the Sewerage and Drainage Act, the Public Utilities Board, with the approval of the Minister for the Environment and Water Resources, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Sewerage and Drainage (Composition of Offences) (Amendment) Regulations 2015 and shall come into operation on 13 February 2015.

Amendment of regulation 2

2. Regulation 2 of the Sewerage and Drainage (Composition of Offences) Regulations (Rg 6) is amended —

(a)

by deleting paragraphs (a) and (b) and substituting the following paragraphs:

“(a)

any offence (other than a continuing offence) under section 10(5), 11(4), 13A(1), 14(4), 16(4), 16A(5)(a), 17(4), 18(1), 19(2), 20(1) or (2)(a), 31(5), 34(2), 35(2), 38(2), 41(1)(a), 46 or 63(b) of the Act;

(b)

any of the following offences (other than a continuing offence) of the Sewerage and Drainage (Sanitary Works) Regulations (Rg 2):

(i)	regulation 8(1) in relation to a contravention of regulation 4A, 5(1) or (3), 6(1), (3) or (5) or 7(1);
(ii)	regulation 8(2) in relation to a contravention of regulation 3(1) or (2) or 4(1);”; and

(b)

by deleting paragraph (d) and substituting the following paragraph:

“(d)	any offence (other than a continuing offence) under regulation 14 of the Sewerage and Drainage (Trade Effluent) Regulations (Rg 5).”.
