Singapore Armed Forces (Saver-premium Fund) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2004

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 205C of the Singapore Armed Forces Act, the Armed Forces Council hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Singapore Armed Forces (SAVER-Premium Fund) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2004 and shall come into operation on 1st December 2004.

Amendment of regulation 2

2. Regulation 2 of the Singapore Armed Forces (SAVER-Premium Fund) Regulations (Rg 18) (referred to in these Regulations as the principal Regulations) is amended by deleting the definitions of “CARE Initial Quantum”, “Compensation Account”, “Medical Account” and “START Account”.

Amendment of regulation 10

3. Regulation 10 of the principal Regulations is amended —

(a)	by deleting paragraphs (b) and (c); and
(b)	by deleting the words “, (b) or (c)” in paragraph (d).

Amendment of regulation 11

4. Regulation 11 of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting paragraphs (a), (f) and (h).

Amendment of regulation 14

5. Regulation 14(3) of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting the words “Compensation Account, Loan and Benefits Account, Medical Account, Provisional Account or START Account” and substituting the words “Loan and Benefits Account or Provisional Account”.

Amendment of regulation 16

6. Regulation 16 of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting the words “, Compensation Account, Medical Account and START Account”.
