(Visit of Prince of Wales from
5 to 8 November 2023 —
Exemption) Order 2023
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Foreign National Emblems (Control of Display) Act 1949, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Order:
Citation
1.  This Order is the Foreign National Emblems (Control of Display) (Visit of Prince of Wales from 5 to 8 November 2023 — Exemption) Order 2023.
Exemption
2.—(1)  Section 3 of the Act does not apply to the display of a relevant foreign national emblem —
(a)at any time during the period from 5 November 2023 to 8 November 2023 (both dates inclusive); and
(b)at any venue where the Prince of Wales is attending an event or meeting members of the public.
(2)  For the purposes of sub‑paragraph (1), the following are relevant foreign national emblems:
(a)the flag of the United Kingdom;
(b)the Royal Standard of the United Kingdom;
(c)the flag of England;
(d)the flag of Scotland;
(e)the flag of Wales.
