Road Traffic (Restriction of Speed on Roads)
(Amendment No. 3) Notification 2015

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 63(2) of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Transport makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Road Traffic (Restriction of Speed on Roads) (Amendment No. 3) Notification 2015 and comes into operation on 20 November 2015.

Amendment of paragraph 2

2. Paragraph 2(1) of the Road Traffic (Restriction of Speed on Roads) Notification (N 6) (referred to in this Notification as the principal Notification) is amended by deleting the word “Fifth” in sub-paragraph (a) and substituting the word “Sixth”.

New First Schedule

3. The principal Notification is amended by inserting, immediately after paragraph 3, the following Schedule:

“FIRST SCHEDULE

Paragraph 2

30 Kilometres Per Hour

West Coast Highway — that part of West Coast Highway —

(a) between lamp post No. 316S13 and Harbour Drive; and

(b) between lamp post No. R13 and lamp post No. R1.”.

Amendment of Second Schedule

4. The existing Second Schedule to the principal Notification is amended —

(a)

by renaming the Second Schedule as the Third Schedule; and

(b)

by deleting the item relating to Old Chua Chu Kang Road and substituting the following item:

“Old Choa Chu Kang Road — that part of Old Choa Chu Kang Road between —

(a) Lim Chu Kang Road and lamp post No. 21, in the direction towards Sungei Tengah Road; and

(b) lamp post No. 22F and Lim Chu Kang Road, in the direction towards Lim Chu Kang Road.”.

Renaming of Schedules

5. The principal Notification is amended by renaming the existing First, Third, Fourth and Fifth Schedules as the Second, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Schedules, respectively.
