COVID‑19 (Temporary Measures)
(Religious Gatherings — Control Order)
(Amendment No. 5) Regulations 2021
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 34(1) of the COVID‑19 (Temporary Measures) Act 2020, the Minister for Health makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the COVID‑19 (Temporary Measures) (Religious Gatherings — Control Order) (Amendment No. 5) Regulations 2021 and come into operation on 27 September 2021.
Amendment of regulation 3
2.  Regulation 3(1) of the COVID‑19 (Temporary Measures) (Religious Gatherings — Control Order) Regulations 2021 (G.N. No. S 509/2021) (called in these Regulations the principal Regulations) is amended by deleting “5” in the definition of “religious gathering for congregational worship” and substituting “2”.
Amendment of regulation 4
3.  Regulation 4 of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting the words “5 or fewer” in paragraph (a) and substituting “2”.
Amendment of regulation 12
4.  Regulation 12(3) of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting the words “or 13F(3) of the Main Control Order” and substituting the words “of the Main Control Order and Part 3 of the COVID‑19 (Temporary Measures) (Business Events — Control Order) Regulations 2021”.
Amendment of regulation 13
5.  Regulation 13(2) of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting the words “, 13E and 13F(3) of the Main Control Order” and substituting the words “and 13E of the Main Control Order and Part 3 of the COVID‑19 (Temporary Measures) (Business Events — Control Order) Regulations 2021”.
Amendment of regulation 15
6.  Regulation 15(1) of the principal Regulations is amended —
(a)by deleting the words “5 or fewer” in sub‑paragraph (c)(i) and (ii) and substituting in each case “2”; and
(b)by deleting sub‑paragraph (iii) of sub‑paragraph (c) and substituting the following sub‑paragraph:
(iii)2 worshippers in total, consisting of one uncleared junior and another worshipper with a cleared status.”.
