(Amendment) Order 2023
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 29(1) of the Liquor Control (Supply and Consumption) Act 2015, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order is the Liquor Control (Supply and Consumption) (Exemption) (Amendment) Order 2023 and comes into operation on 2 January 2024.
New paragraph 1A
2.  In the Liquor Control (Supply and Consumption) (Exemption) Order 2017 (G.N. No. S 426/2017) (called in this Order the principal Order), after paragraph 1, insert —
Definition
1A.  In this Order, “telecommunication service” has the meaning given by section 2 of the Telecommunications Act 1999.”.
Amendment of paragraph 3
3.  In the principal Order, in paragraph 3(1) —
(a)in sub‑paragraph (b), replace “through an online service” with “online or through a telecommunication service”; and
(b)replace “through the online service” with “online or through the telecommunication service”.
Amendment of paragraph 4
4.  In the principal Order, in paragraph 4(1) —
(a)in sub‑paragraph (b), replace “through an online service” with “online or through a telecommunication service”; and
(b)replace “through the online service” with “online or through the telecommunication service”.
