| Prisons (Advisory Committees) (Amendment) Regulations 2022 |

| Citation and commencement |
| 1. These Regulations are the Prisons (Advisory Committees) (Amendment) Regulations 2022 and come into operation on 2 September 2022. |
| Amendment of regulation 2 |
2. In regulation 2 of the Prisons (Advisory Committees) Regulations 2014 (G.N. No. S 448/2014), (definition of “Committee”), replace paragraph (a) with —

| 3. Delete regulation 12 of the Prisons (Advisory Committees) Regulations 2014. |
| Transitional provision |
| 4. Every person (A) who, immediately before 2 September 2022, is a chairman, deputy chairman or member of an Employment Release Advisory Committee appointed under regulation 4 of the Prisons (Advisory Committees) Regulations 2014 continues in such appointment as if A were appointed by the Minister under that regulation as a chairman, deputy chairman or member (as the case may be) of an Employment Preparation Advisory Committee, and A’s appointment expires on the date A’s appointment would have expired if these Regulations had not been made. |
