Electricity (Electrical Installations)
(Amendment) Regulations 2019

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 103(1) of the Electricity Act, the Energy Market Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Trade and Industry, makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Electricity (Electrical Installations) (Amendment) Regulations 2019 and come into operation on 15 November 2019.

Amendment of regulation 13

2. Regulation 13 of the Electricity (Electrical Installations) Regulations (Rg 5) is amended —

(a)	by deleting the words “Singapore Standard CP 5 Code of Practice for Electrical Installations” in paragraph (2) and substituting the words “Singapore Standard SS 638 Code of Practice for Electrical Installations as at 15 November 2019”;
(b)	by deleting the words “Singapore Standard CP 88 Code of Practice for Temporary Electrical Installations — Part 1: Construction and Building Sites” in paragraph (3) and substituting the words “Singapore Standard SS 650 Code of Practice for Temporary Electrical Installations — Part 1: Construction and building sites as at 15 November 2019”; and
(c)	by deleting the words “Singapore Standard CP 88 Code of Practice for Temporary Electrical Installations — Part 2: Festive lighting, trade fairs, mini‑fairs and exhibition sites” in paragraph (4) and substituting the words “Singapore Standard SS 650 Code of Practice for Temporary Electrical Installations — Part 2: Festive lighting, trade fairs, mini‑fairs and exhibition sites as at 15 November 2019”.
