Environmental Public Health (Burning of Joss Sticks and Candles) Regulations 1998 |

Citation and commencement |
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Environmental Public Health (Burning of Joss Sticks and Candles) Regulations 1998 and shall come into operation on 1st March 1998. |
Prohibition of burning of joss sticks or candles exceeding certain height or cross section |
2. No person shall set or keep alight, or cause or permit to be set or kept alight —

Penalty |
4. Any person who contravenes regulation 2 or 3(1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $2,000. |
