Infectious Diseases
(Notification of Prescribed Infectious Diseases)
(Amendment) Regulations 2020
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 73 of the Infectious Diseases Act, the Minister for Health makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Infectious Diseases (Notification of Prescribed Infectious Diseases) (Amendment) Regulations 2020 and come into operation on 1 February 2020.
Amendment of Part 1 of Schedule
2.  Part 1 of the Schedule to the Infectious Diseases (Notification of Prescribed Infectious Diseases) Regulations 2008 (G.N. No. S 612/2008) is amended by inserting, immediately after item (s) in the second column, the following item:
“(t)2019 Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV)”.
