Hazardous Waste
(Control of Export, Import and Transit)
(Amendment) Regulations 2014

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 48 of the Hazardous Waste (Control of Export, Import and Transit) Act, the Minister for the Environment and Water Resources hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Hazardous Waste (Control of Export, Import and Transit) (Amendment) Regulations 2014 and shall come into operation on 1 January 2015.

Deletion and substitution of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Hazardous Waste (Control of Export, Import and Transit) Regulations (Rg 1) is deleted and the following Schedule substituted therefor:

“THE SCHEDULE

Regulation 32

Fees

1.	Application for Basel permit or special permit (regulation 3, 4 or 5) —

(a) valid for one year

$335

(b) valid for 3 months

$125

2.	Application for variation of Basel permit or special permit (regulation 21)

$45 per application

”.
