Criminal Procedure Code (Prescribed Fees) Regulations 2010

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 428 of the Criminal Procedure Code 2010, the Minister for Law hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Criminal Procedure Code (Prescribed Fees) Regulations 2010 and shall come into operation on 2nd January 2011.

Prescribed fees

2.—(1) For the purposes of section 377(6) of the Code, the fee prescribed for a copy each of the record of proceedings and the grounds of decision is as follows:

(a)	$50 if the notice of appeal is lodged in relation to a judgment, sentence or order of a Magistrate’s Court or District Court; and
(b)	$0.50 for each page of a copy of the record of proceedings and grounds of decision, subject to a minimum fee of $10, if the notice of appeal is lodged in relation to a judgment, sentence or order of the High Court.

(2) For the purposes of section 426(1) of the Code, the fee prescribed for a copy of any judgment, sentence, order, deposition or other part of the record of proceedings is $0.50 for each page of the copy of the judgment, sentence, order, deposition or other part of the record of proceedings, subject to a minimum fee of $10.
