(Amendment) Rules 2023

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10(1) and (2) of the Legal Profession Act 1966, the Board of Directors of the Singapore Institute of Legal Education, after consulting the Minister for Law and the Council of the Law Society of Singapore, makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules are the Legal Profession (Foreign Practitioner Examinations) (Amendment) Rules 2023 and come into operation on 12 January 2023.

Amendment of Schedule

2. In the Schedule to the Legal Profession (Foreign Practitioner Examinations) Rules 2011 (G.N. No. S 553/2011) —

(a)	in item 1, replace “$321” with “$324”;
(b)	in item 2, replace “$214” with “$216”;
(c)	in item 3, replace “$7,704” with “$7,776”; and
(d)	in item 4, replace “$535” with “$540”. [G.N. No. S 693/2015]
