Medicines (Medicinal Products as
Clinical Research Materials)
(Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2023
In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 44 and 74 of the Medicines Act 1975, the Minister for Health makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Medicines (Medicinal Products as Clinical Research Materials) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2023 and come into operation on 18 December 2023.
Amendment of regulation 2
2.  In the Medicines (Medicinal Products as Clinical Research Materials) Regulations 2016 (G.N. No. S 336/2016), in regulation 2, delete the definition of “nursing home”.
Amendment of Second Schedule
3.  In the Medicines (Medicinal Products as Clinical Research Materials) Regulations 2016, in the Second Schedule, in paragraph 1(3)(d)(i) and (4)(b)(i) —
(a)replace “a nursing home, licensed retail pharmacy,” with “a licensed retail pharmacy”; and
(b)replace “the nursing home, licensed retail pharmacy” with “the licensed retail pharmacy”.
