Notification 2019

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4(1) of the Prisons Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification is the Prisons (Appointment of Lock‑ups to be Places of Confinement) (Amendment) Notification 2019 and comes into operation on 9 December 2019.

Amendment of Schedule

2. Item 12 of the Schedule to the Prisons (Appointment of Lock‑ups to be Places of Confinement) Notification 2018 (G.N. No. S 758/2018) is amended by deleting the words “State Courts Building” and substituting the words “State Courts Towers”.
