Medicines (Advertisement
and Sale) (Exemption)
Order 2023
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Medicines (Advertisement and Sale) Act 1955, the Minister for Health makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order is the Medicines (Advertisement and Sale) (Exemption) Order 2023 and comes into operation on 18 December 2023.
Definition
2.  In this Order, “licensable healthcare service” has the meaning given by section 3(1) of the Healthcare Services Act 2020.
Exemption from section 5 of Act
3.  Section 5 of the Act does not apply in relation to an advertisement published by a person who is licensed under the Healthcare Services Act 2020 to provide any licensable healthcare service.
Revocation
4.  Revoke the Medicines (Advertisement and Sale) (Exemption) Order 2004 (G.N. No. S 280/2004).
