Town Councils (Exclusion of Property from Town Council) (Consolidation) (Amendment) Order 1996

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2)(c) of the Town Councils Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Town Councils (Exclusion of Property from Town Council) (Consolidation) (Amendment) Order 1996 and shall come into operation on 1st March 1996.

2. Item (19) in paragraph 2 of the Town Councils (Exclusion of Property from Town Council) (Consolidation) Order is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “and” at the end of sub-paragraph (c); and

(b)

by deleting the full-stop at the end of sub-paragraph (d) and substituting the word “; and”, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following sub-paragraph:

“(e)	Blocks 762 and 763 of Gek Poh Shopping Centre and the linkway between the two blocks.”.
