Prevention of Pollution of the Sea
(Composition of Offences)
(Amendment) Regulations 2022
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 33 of the Prevention of Pollution of the Sea Act 1990, the Minister for Transport makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Prevention of Pollution of the Sea (Composition of Offences) (Amendment) Regulations 2022 and come into operation on 1 November 2022.
Amendment of Schedule
2.  In the Schedule to the Prevention of Pollution of the Sea (Composition of Offences) Regulations (Rg 6), replace item (g) with —
“(g)Regulation 9 of the Prevention of Pollution of the Sea (Air) Regulations 2022 (G.N. No. S 837/2022).”.
Saving provision
3.  Despite regulation 2, the Prevention of Pollution of the Sea (Composition of Offences) Regulations as in force immediately before 1 November 2022 continue to apply for the purposes of offences reasonably suspected to have been committed before that date under regulation 9 of the Prevention of Pollution of the Sea (Air) Regulations 2005 (G.N. No. S 134/2005).
