(Dispute Resolution Schemes)
(Amendment) Regulations 2018

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 28A(2) and (6) of the Monetary Authority of Singapore Act, the Monetary Authority of Singapore makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Monetary Authority of Singapore (Dispute Resolution Schemes) (Amendment) Regulations 2018 and come into operation on 1 January 2019.

Amendment of Second Schedule

2. Part II of the Second Schedule to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (Dispute Resolution Schemes) Regulations 2007 (G.N. No. S 436/2007) is amended by deleting paragraph (c) of the definition of “specialist insurer” and substituting the following paragraph:

“(c)	any marine mutual insurer as defined in section 1A of the Insurance Act;”.
