In exercise of the powers conferred by section 142 of the Road Traffic Act 1961, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Order:

Citation and period in force

1.—(1) This Order is the Road Traffic (Tour de France Prudential Singapore Criterium 2022 Event — Exemption) (No. 2) Order 2022.

(2) This Order is in force on 30 October 2022 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Definitions

2. In this Order —

“specified event” means the Tour de France Prudential Singapore Criterium 2022 organised by TEG Global Touring Pte. Ltd. (UEN 201631614Z) on 30 October 2022;

“specified road” means any of the roads delineated by the black‑coloured lines in the map set out in the Schedule.

Exemption for riding bicycle

3. Rules 5, 6, 7, 7A, 8, 10, 11 and 11A of the Road Traffic (Bicycles) Rules (R 3) do not apply to an individual who rides a bicycle on a specified road during and in connection with the specified event.
