Planning (Development)
(Amendment No. 2) Rules 2023

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 61(1) of the Planning Act 1998, the Minister for National Development makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules are the Planning (Development) (Amendment No. 2) Rules 2023 and come into operation on 18 December 2023.

Amendment of rule 3

2. In the Planning (Development) Rules 2008 (G.N. No. S 113/2008) (called in these Rules the principal Rules), in rule 3(1) and (5), after “application for”, insert “provisional permission,”.

Amendment of rule 8

3. In the principal Rules, in rule 8(1), after “application for”, insert “provisional permission,”.

Amendment of rule 11

4. In the principal Rules, in rule 11(c)(i)(A), after “competent authority for”, insert “provisional permission,”.
