CareShield Life and
Long-Term Care (Long-Term Care Support Fund —
Prescribed Public Scheme) Regulations 2019

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 64(1) of the CareShield Life and Long-Term Care Act 2019, the Minister for Health makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the CareShield Life and Long-Term Care (Long-Term Care Support Fund — Prescribed Public Scheme) Regulations 2019 and come into operation on 2 January 2020.

Prescribed public scheme

2. For the purposes of section 39(1)(c) of the Act, the scheme established by the Government known as the ElderFund Scheme is a prescribed public scheme.
