(Chapter 70)

Customs Duties (Amendment) Order 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10(1) of the Customs Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Customs Duties (Amendment) Order 1998 and shall come into operation on 27th February 1998 at 4.00 p.m.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Customs Duties Order (O 4) is amended —

(a)	by deleting “$60.00” in column (7) against HS Codes 2401.10 100, 2401.10 900, 2401.20 100, 2401.20 900, 2401.30 000, 2403.10 910 and substituting in each case “$70.00”;
(b)	by deleting “$115.00” in column (7) against HS Codes 2402.10 000, 2402.20 000, 2402.90 100, 2402.90 900, 2403.10 100, 2403.10 990, 2403.91 000, 2403.99 200, 2403.99 890, 2403.99 900 and substituting in each case “$130.00”;
(c)	by deleting “$23.00” in column (7) against HS Code 2403.99 100 and substituting “$26.00”;
(d)	by deleting “$12.00” in column (7) against HS Code 2403.99 810 and substituting “$14.00”; and
(e)	by deleting “$12.00” in column (7) against HS Code 2403.99 820 and substituting “$14.00”. [G.N. No. S 467/97]
