Central Provident Fund
(Voluntary Contributions)
(Amendment) Regulations 2019

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 77(1) of the Central Provident Fund Act, the Minister for Manpower, after consulting with the Central Provident Fund Board, makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Central Provident Fund (Voluntary Contributions) (Amendment) Regulations 2019 and come into operation on 1 January 2020.

Amendment of regulation 3

2. Regulation 3 of the Central Provident Fund (Voluntary Contributions) Regulations 2011 (G.N. No. S 731/2011) is amended —

(a)

by deleting sub‑paragraph (c) of paragraph (1) and substituting the following sub‑paragraph:

“(c)	the amount contributed by or for that person in that year under regulation 17 or 17AA of the Central Provident Fund (Self‑Employed Persons) Regulations (Rg 25);”; and

(b)

by deleting the word “his” in paragraph (2) and substituting the words “the employer’s”.

Deletion of regulation 4

3. Regulation 4 of the Central Provident Fund (Voluntary Contributions) Regulations 2011 is deleted.
