Regulation of Imports and Exports (Chewing Gum) (Amendment) Regulations 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Regulation of Imports and Exports Act, the Trade Development Board, with the approval of the Minister for Trade and Industry, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Regulation of Imports and Exports (Chewing Gum) (Amendment) Regulations 1998 and shall come into operation on 2nd January 1998.

Amendment of regulation 5

2. Regulation 5 of the Regulation of Imports and Exports (Chewing Gum) Regulations (Rg 4) is amended by inserting, immediately after the words “check‑point” in the third line and in the fourth line of paragraph (c), the words “or the Tuas Customs check‑point”.
