Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes
(Medifund Committees) (Amendment)
Order 2019

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 14 of the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes Act, the Minister for Health makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1.—(1) This Order is the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes (Medifund Committees) (Amendment) Order 2019 and, except for paragraph 2(b), is deemed to have come into operation on 1 October 2018.

(2) Paragraph 2(b) comes into operation on 2 January 2019.

Amendment of Part 1 of Schedule

2. Item 20 of Part 1 of the Schedule to the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes (Medifund Committees) Order 2015 (G.N. No. S 361/2015) is amended —

(a)

by deleting item (2) in the second column and substituting the following item:

“(2) Kwong Wai Shiu Care @McNair”; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately after item (2) in the second column, the following item:

“(3) Kwong Wai Shiu Care @Jalan Besar”.
