Control of Plants (Analysis and Inspection Service Fees) (Amendment) Rules 2001

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 49 of the Control of Plants Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Control of Plants (Analysis and Inspection Service Fees) (Amendment) Rules 2001 and shall come into operation on 1st March 2001.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Control of Plants (Analysis and Inspection Service Fees) Rules (R 8) is amended by deleting paragraph 1 and substituting the following paragraph:

“

1. Food analysis:

pesticide residue analysis

$123 per group of pesticides and an additional $80 for every pesticide detected other than dithiocarbamate as total CS₂ per sample.

”.
